1. Introduction

Replayo is a browser extension by Appsjet Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") that records your actions on a web page — clicks, typing, and form input — as macros, and replays them on demand or on a schedule you set. This policy explains what data Replayo handles, what stays on your device, and the limited data we collect to provide sign-in, licensing, and the optional capture-by-email feature.

2. What Stays on Your Device

The core of Replayo works locally. The following is stored only in your browser's extension storage and is never transmitted to us:

  • Your macros — the recorded steps (clicks, typed values, element selectors, and page URLs) and their names.
  • Recording and playback state — the in-progress recording and replay progress.
  • Schedules and settings — when and how your macros run.

Replayo does not collect your browsing history or track the pages you visit, and contains no advertising.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate licensing, sign-in, and features you explicitly use:

  • Email address and sign-in data — when you sign in, we send a one-time code to your email and issue a session token so the extension can verify your subscription. When you purchase a subscription, our payment provider tells us the email you purchased with.
  • Device identifier and run counts — the extension generates a random identifier (not tied to your hardware or Google account) used to count free macro runs against the free-tier limit.
  • Captured values you choose to extract — if you add an "extract" step to a macro, the text it reads from the page is sent to our server for the sole purpose of emailing it to your own signed-in email address. We do not use captured content for anything else, and it is only ever sent to the account that ran the macro.
  • Usage analytics — anonymous product-usage events (for example "recording started" or "macro run succeeded"), together with the extension version and coarse device and browser information. These events contain no URLs or website addresses, no page content, no typed values, and no email addresses, and are not tied to a persistent user identifier.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Verify your identity and subscription status (sign-in and entitlement checks).
  • Enforce the free-tier run limit.
  • Deliver extracted values to your own email address when a macro requests it.
  • Understand how Replayo's features are used, so we can improve the product.
  • Provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to Replayo's single purpose of recording and replaying browser macros. We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers, each bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations, to operate Replayo:

  • Amazon Web Services — hosts our licensing API.
  • Neon — hosts our database (accounts, run counts, subscription status).
  • Resend — delivers sign-in codes and capture emails.
  • Dodo Payments — processes subscription payments. Payment details are handled entirely by Dodo Payments on their checkout pages; we never see or store your card information.
  • Aptabase — privacy-friendly, EU-hosted product analytics that receives the anonymous usage events described above and does not use persistent user identifiers.

6. Data Security

Communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS. Sign-in uses short-lived one-time codes, and session tokens are stored only in your browser's extension storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Account and subscription records are retained while your account is active or as required by law. Captured values are processed for delivery to your email and are not retained as a stored dataset. Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the extension.

8. Cookies and Tracking on This Website

This website may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect certain features of the site.

9. Third-Party Links

This website contains links to third-party websites, such as the Chrome Web Store. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Request deletion of your account and personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@appsjetsolutions.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Replayo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
