1. Introduction

Replayo is a browser extension by Appsjet Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") that records your actions on a web page — clicks, typing, and form input — as macros, and replays them on demand or on a schedule you set. This policy explains what data Replayo handles, what stays on your device, and the limited data we collect to provide sign-in, licensing, and the optional capture-by-email feature.

2. What Stays on Your Device

The core of Replayo works locally. The following is stored only in your browser's extension storage and is never transmitted to us:

  • Your macros — the recorded steps (clicks, typed values, element selectors, and page URLs) and their names.
  • Recording and playback state — the in-progress recording and replay progress.
  • Schedules and settings — when and how your macros run.

Replayo does not collect your browsing history or track the pages you visit, and contains no advertising.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate licensing, sign-in, and features you explicitly use:

  • Email address and sign-in data — when you sign in, we send a one-time code to your email and issue a session token so the extension can verify your subscription. When you purchase a subscription, our payment provider tells us the email you purchased with.
  • Device identifier and run counts — the extension generates a random identifier (not tied to your hardware or Google account) used to count macro runs against your plan's run limit.
  • Captured values you choose to extract — if you add an "extract" step to a macro, the text it reads from the page is sent to our server for the sole purpose of emailing it to your own signed-in email address. We do not use captured content for anything else, and it is only ever sent to the account that ran the macro.
  • Usage analytics — product-usage events (for example "recording started" or "macro run succeeded"), together with the extension version, coarse device and browser information, and your IP address, which our analytics provider uses to derive an approximate location. These events contain no addresses of websites you visit, no page content, and no typed values. They are tied to the random device identifier described above, so that we can tell repeat use from first-time use. If you sign in, your email address and subscription status are attached to that identifier, so that we can tell a subscriber's usage from a free user's.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Verify your identity and subscription status (sign-in and entitlement checks).
  • Enforce run limits.
  • Deliver extracted values to your own email address when a macro requests it.
  • Understand how Replayo's features are used, so we can improve the product.
  • Provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to Replayo's single purpose of recording and replaying browser macros. We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers, each bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations, to operate Replayo:

  • Cloud hosting and database — a third-party cloud platform hosts our licensing API, and a managed database service stores accounts, run counts, and subscription status.
  • Email delivery — a third-party email provider sends sign-in codes and capture emails.
  • Dodo Payments — processes subscription payments. Payment details are handled entirely by Dodo Payments on their checkout pages; we never see or store your card information.
  • Product analytics — a third-party analytics provider receives the usage events described above, along with the random device identifier, your IP address, and, once you sign in, your email address and subscription status. It processes them on servers in the European Union.
  • Google — advertising measurement on this website only, through Google Ads. It receives the pages you view on replayo.app, your IP address, and whether you arrived from one of our ads, so that we can tell which ads lead to installs. It is not used inside the extension and receives none of the macro, capture, or account data described above. See section 8 for how to control it.

6. Data Security

Communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS. Sign-in uses short-lived one-time codes, and session tokens are stored only in your browser's extension storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Account and subscription records are retained while your account is active or as required by law. Captured values are processed for delivery to your email and are not retained as a stored dataset. Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the extension.

8. Cookies and Tracking on This Website

This section covers replayo.app, the website. It does not apply to the extension, which contains no advertising, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking. The product-usage data the extension does send is described in sections 3 and 5.

We use Google Ads on this website to measure how many people install Replayo after seeing or clicking one of our ads. When these cookies are allowed, Google receives the pages you visit on this site, your IP address, and the ad you arrived from, and may use that information to personalise the ads you are shown elsewhere. Google processes this data in the United States.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these cookies are switched off until you accept them. You will be asked when you first visit, and you can change your answer at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. If you reject, Google still receives a record that a visit happened, but without cookies or identifiers that single you out. You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings.

9. Third-Party Links

This website contains links to third-party websites, such as the Chrome Web Store. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your account and personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@appsjetsolutions.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Replayo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this policy or how Replayo handles your data, contact us at info@appsjetsolutions.com.
